The This Morning presenter took to Twitter to share a photo of herself in a hospital gown, with tubes in her arm and a drip in her hand.
She wrote: "In agony. Rushed to A&E after feeling fine this morning. Turns out I have a perforated bowel. Just had emergency surgery and now on IV antibiotics. Thanks to the brilliant NHS doctors and nurses for their amazing care xxxx."
