US Women's National Team Roster Announced for 2024 World Cup

CHICAGO, June 26, 2024 - US Women's National Team head coach Emma Hayes has announced the 18-player roster, plus four alternates, for the upcoming 2024 World Cup. The USWNT is looking to defend their title from the 2019 World Cup in France. The team will begin its journey on July 21st against Australia in a friendly match in San Diego, CA. The final 23-player roster will be announced on August 10th. The USWNT will then travel to Australia and New Zealand for the World Cup, which will be held from July 20th to August 20th. The USWNT is one of the most successful teams in the history of women's soccer. They have won four World Cups (1991, 1999, 2015, 2019) and four Olympic gold medals (1996, 2004, 2008, 2012).
